The AC compressor pumps refrigerant to cool the cabin. Common failures: clutch burnout, seized bearings, leaking seals. Sudden failure often means metal debris has spread through the AC system.

The alternator charges your battery while the engine runs and powers your electrics. When it fails, the battery drains and the car eventually cuts off. Common failure point after 100,000-150,000 km.

The starter motor cranks the engine when you turn the key. Fails gradually — clicking sounds, slow cranks, then nothing. Often confused with a dead battery.

Taillights crack from rear bumps or age. LED units are one-piece — a single failed LED means replacing the whole unit. Used clean taillights are a common cost-saver.
